Milky is the reason we fell head-over-heels for the Frenchie breed. She is a loyal companion with a sense of humor. When she knows that you are trying to get her to do something she doesn't want to do, she will fall over and roll on to her back (to make moving her a challenge). She loves her "squeekers" - her little, plastic dog toys. In fact, "squeeker" was the first word she learned; we now use this word to get her attention when she is ignoring us because she can't resist a squeeker. She loves going for walks and hikes. Her usual weekly hike length is about 5 miles. She also loves her kiddy swimming pool in her backyard and will often take a quick dip. Milky is a water girl (although she isn't a strong swimmer) and she will wade through gentle rivers and shallow lakes all day long. She is great with other dogs and very, very friendly with people. 

Milky is 100% French Bulldog. Milky has OFA-tested fair hips (certification in above photo carousel), which pass her as safe to breed, and has been OFA-tested for breathing (certification in above photo carousel) - she has OFA-tested normal tracheal diameter. The Big Rope French Bulldog is a type of Frenchie most people haven't heard of yet. It is a bloodline of French Bulldog that produces "ropes" or folds. The "rope" is generally most prominent over the top of the muzzle, although should not so big that it obstructs the nostrils. This bloodline can also create more beautiful folds on the forehead of the dog. Yes, the Big Rope Frenchie IS a French Bulldog.  Miss Mila came to us from California from a breeder that is specifically working on developing the Big Rope bloodline and bringing it into the spotlight. Mila is a very active, very playful, very sporty girl. If you are doing it, she wants to be doing it. The longest hikes we take her on are around 10 miles. Most days she would be happy to keep on walking. She likes water; however, she is cautious of it. She loves to tease her dog friends with dog toys and get their attention by making them think she has something really special in her mouth. Then the game is tag: she will run away from them and zoom around them. She is a competitive pup. Silly and competitive. She is out to win...even though there is no actual "award" - the award is just staying ahead of the pack and keeping the other pups interested in her game. Mila is good with other dogs, kids and people.
